The six things we ask
These are the whole of the sizing conversation. Answer them in a single message and the reply is usually a number, not another question.

A dedicated or self-hosted deployment costs what its environment costs, and environments differ by more than any single number absorbs. Publishing one would mean picking a figure that is wrong for almost everyone — too high for a small team, too low for a large estate, and impossible to hold the moment anything needs upgrading. So we ask first and quote against the answer.
That is the same reasoning behind the prices we do publish, which is written up in why it costs this little.
What happens after you send it
A person reads it and replies. There is no qualification sequence, no routing to a territory owner, and no call booked before anyone has looked at what you wrote — which is either a feature or a warning, depending on how fast you need an answer.
If the shape of what you need is already clear, the reply has a number in it. If it is not, the reply says which part is unclear and asks about that one thing.
